Past Projects > Live Painting for VOCEL

We painted this piece for an organization called VOCEL, which spcializes in early childhood development programs in Chicago Public Schools. We created it first as a live-painting experience, part of their annual benefit in October 2025, and then completed for permanent installation at Davis School in December 2025. The woman and child are part of their pre-k program at Davis, and it was so fun to put them in the painting and see everyone’s warm response at the event. Participants at the event also were part of the mural as well- they wrote out their hopes for children of tomorrow on pink colored lightning bolts, which we pasted into the composition. It was an experience enjoyed by all.
